HOW TO MAKE A STEAK BITTED WITH A WHITE ONION BUTTER
This recipe uses a sirloin steak that is cut into small pieces. I chose sirloin because it was soft and flavorful, but not super expensive. Other great choices are the New York tenderloin, rib eye, or steak strip. Pieces of steak cooked with olive oil, butter, garlic, salt, pepper and sprinkled with parsley. There she is!
The key to this recipe is crazy hot pan so you get a nice skin on your meat. Butter can burn at high temperatures, so I usually start the meat with a little olive oil for the browning factor, then add butter to the flavor. Cast iron pans are the right choice for this steak bite because they can be REALLY hot!
Steak only needs to be cooked for a few minutes, and garlic is added at the end so it doesn't burn. Add a little parsley for taste and color, and you get an amazing appetizer or main course.
When I made this steak bite, my children and I all took toothpicks and ate the meat as snacks directly from the pan. It also makes a unique main course on potatoes or with bread to eat all the garlic butter. However you serve this steak bite, everyone will love it!
