Golden Grahams S’mores Bars

Golden Grahams S'Mores Bars are sticky, chewy, slightly crispy, and an appropriate way to revel in s'mores within the room. They are like Krispie rice and multifunction.



If you like s' mores then you definitely need to try this Golden Grahams s' mores bar. It's simple, without a baked recipe that you can prepare in no time. And they have everything you like about s' mores:

  • sticky marshmallows
  • chocolate milk
  • graham crackers

Growing up my family never went camping. 4 girls + rain potential = lots of complaining. But we always have a campfire. And every time there is a campfire we ALWAYS have nightmares.

There are always arguments about what makes s'more perfect. Chocolate vs. golden brown a marshmallow that is really burning, one marshmallow vs. two, plain milk chocolate vs. something a little different. But the debate about what made it perfect meant more that I had to try several varieties. That has never been a problem with me.

INGREDIENTS

  • 5 cups of mini marshmallows
  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate milk
  • 5 tablespoons of butter, or margarine
  • 1/4 cup of corn syrup *
  • 7 glasses of Golden Grahams
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows


INSTRUCTIONS

  1. 9x13 inch butter/grease pan.
  2. Add 5 cups of marshmallows, milk chocolate, butter, and corn syrup to a large saucepan.
  3. Melt the mixture with low heat while stirring slowly with a rubber spatula.
  4. After it has melted, do away with it from the heat (location it on a warmth-resistant floor) and without delay stir the cereal and the ultimate marshmallow cups. That can be very sticky.
  5. Spoon the mixture into a prepared baking pan and spread it evenly using the back of your spatula (a little sprinkling can help).
  6. Let it harden at room temperature for 60 minutes before cutting into a box.

* If you don't have corn syrup, use 1/4 cup of sugar and 1 tablespoon of water only.
** Store blades in airtight containers at room temperature. I don't recommend storing it in the fridge because it's too hard.
